I check in every so often. I have followed Em's site from when she was under a year old and had the privledge of watching her grow and learn through the stories you tell of her online. Despite her disabilities, in many ways she is a typical little girl who loves playing with her brother and sister, swimming, and going to school. I think children like Emily are proof that in the right environment, children with disabilities can lead a happy, fullfilling life.

Have not emailed you in a while and just want to know that I am so glad that Emily is doing so well. I know you have the bad days but the good in those bad days outweighs all else! She is a gift and a blessing from God and every day with her must be like heaven. I know our little T18 baby, Mallory Faith, sees from Heaven and applauds your care and love for Emily. You truly have been blessed. Thanks for keeping us updated on her. barbara

I really enjoyed reading about Emily's life history. Wow! Wendy, I do believe she has remarkable parents and siblings which makes a big difference in her "Will" to endure her struggles. God Bless You All Too! See you on Friday. :)

Wonderful website Wendy & Craig! It's nice to be able to watch Emily as she progresses and hear about all she has accomplished in her 7 yrs. The photos are a plus. I can't believe how much she's grown since I saw her last. She's quite the miracle. God is good. You've both done such a good job with her. She seems so happy and content. I can still feel her little hand wrapped around my fingers. What a grip! And I'm glad to hear she liked her stuffed puppy dog:) Your perseverance, dedication and absolute love for Emily is evident. Every child is a lamb on loan from God. He expects us to care and nurture for each lamb as we do the next. Emily has grown into a beautiful little girl. She is a direct reflection of the love that you have shown for her. I can only imagine how warmly God is smiling down on you.

What a wonderfull life Miss Emily has and I think she will go far, Mom & Dad keep up the good work you have done. It is because you have done very well for her and gave her the love she need's. And i hope you have many more year's with Emily like I have had with Miss Cassandra she will be 19 year's old in Aug and full trisomy 18 also...

I have a baby just 13 days old and diagnosed with Trisomy 18. Her name is Ava. Thank you for putting Emily's page on the internet. It gives me tremendous hope. Ava is still in the ICU right now and we have to have her gain more weight to bring her home. She has a large hole inher heart and her brain has some water in it. She is doing well on my milk feeding regularly. Please pray for her recovery . That she may come home to be with us soon. I am talking to GOD about a miracle and I know Ava will be testimony to HIS power and mercy. I will say a prayer for Emily along with my Ava.Thank you.
